Community First and Health for All as “Health equity matters."

Who’s most vulnerable? Who’s being left out? And what must we change so that health security truly includes everyone?
At Dakshinpuri, AarogyavMandir, New Delhi, in collaboration with USEA, Rotary Club of Delhi Premier, Aica Health, and the National TB Elimination Program (NTEP), Govt. of India, we brought community-based TB and cardiovascular screening closer to where it matters most-people.
Tuberculosis (TB) remains one of the world’s deadliest diseases affecting nearly a quarter of the global population and claiming over a million lives each year (WHO, 2024) with the highest disease burden reported from India.
One of the world’s oldest diseases, TB still persists due to poverty, stigma, malnutrition, migration, and inequitable health systems.
Community-driven models ensure that those most at risk are not left behind. Early screening for TB, enhancing community awareness, engagement, and integration heart health can save lives, reduce long-term complications, and strengthen healthier futures.
Because true health security is about people, access, and equity.
